WHAT IS SEDATION?
Sedation is a form of deep relaxation. While in the past, some have called this "sleep dentistry," that term really isn't completely accurate. Sedation is a stage of relaxation that is so deep that many times, our patients do not even remember having been to the dentist at all!
While you're sedated, we can usually accomplish all of your dental needs in a single appointment. That's right, you can get everything over with at once!
When you come in for sedation dentistry, you will be completely relaxed, time will seem to pass by very quickly, you will usually have absolutely no recollection of unpleasant sights, sounds or smells, and you will leave relaxed.
